Asian Americans who face discrimination in the federal government often find themselves facing institutional barriers.

To reach a favorable outcome for their case, the system has to be reformed. AAFEN collects stories from employees and advocates for policy reforms to address common issues. Employees can also feel isolated. They do not find support from the agency offices that purport to serve employees; therefore, they are on their own to understand their employee rights. AAFEN provides limited support to Asian Americans, e.g. legal referrals, peer support and networking.
